"Vision" Story behind the artwork...

"Vision" 2018

This painting, "Vision", represents imagination, creativity, perception and inspiration. The pastel shades and misty tones create a dream-like quality to the artwork, and it could appear that the horses are running on top of clouds. The white horses are strong and beautiful, and are running with purpose.

I wanted to create a painting that would capture the way I imagine heaven to be, something that would show more than the reality of the world we live in. The definition of vision is defined as:

I believe that this painting represents all these words combined, and even without the deeper meaning, it is a beautiful, delicate painting, which would be especially fitting for a bedroom, but would in look great in any room. I recommend hanging this painting on a clean white wall in natural light, to allow the subtle colours to come through and the silver to catch the light.
